Sweet BBQ Chicken Wings

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 20 chicken wings, or drumettes

  • 1 cup Souse sweet BBQ sauce




  • Step 1

In a bowl, combine cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. 

  • Step 2

In a separate bowl, after washing the chicken, place your dry seasoning in along with 1/4 of the bbq sauce and mix with the wings in the bowl.

  • Step 3

Place the wings on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through until skin is golden brown.

  • Step 4

Preheat oven to 500°F (250°C).

  • Step 5

In a separate bowl, pour out the remaining 3/4 of the BBQ sauce. Stir the cooked wings in the sauce and coat them evenly.

  • Step 6

Place the coated wings back onto the baking sheet and spread them in a single layer. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until sauce, is bubbly and caramelized. Cool, then serve.
